Support Your Wellbeing Now
While Cultivating Resources for Healthy Aging

Learn gentle ways to ease stress, reconnect with your body, and make self-care part of daily life through perimenopause, menopause, and beyond.

This three-part workshop combines accessible education, gentle qigong, guided relaxation, and practical self-care. You’ll learn movements to continue at home, brief practices to use during your day, and ways to recognize what replenishes you.

Rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine and informed by contemporary research on mind-body practices, the program offers a broader perspective on menopause and caring for your wellbeing over time.

A Transition to Support, Not Something to Fix

A new way of understanding and caring for yourself through change.

The menopausal transition can invite a different relationship with our energy—one that includes replenishment, boundaries, rest, nourishment, movement, connection, and attention to what we truly need.

Through the idea of an “Energy Bank Account,” you’ll explore what draws on your reserves and what helps replenish them.

Traditional Chinese Medicine perspectives on Yin, Yang, and energy offer another lens for understanding changing needs.

The larger aim is to help you cultivate habits and resources that support wellbeing now, adaptation through change, and healthy aging—the ability to stay engaged in the life that matters to you.

You'll Take Away

Across three sessions, you'll gain:

  • Gentle qigong movements to practice at home, combining movement, breath, and focused awareness.

  • Brief practices for moments of stress, helping you pause, settle, and reconnect with your body.

  • A clearer understanding of your energy needs, including what restores you and when to make room for rest.

  • Practical self-care insights involving nourishment, movement, nature, connection, and boundaries.

  • Greater awareness of your body’s signals, so you can respond to changing needs with more attention and care.

  • A concise takeaway sheet with practice reminders and self-care suggestions to help you continue after the workshop.

No prior qigong experience is necessary.

An Evidence Informed Approach

The workshop brings together Traditional Chinese Medicine perspectives, practical experience, and research-informed mind-body practices.

Benefits of regular qigong practice can include:

  • reduced feelings of stress and tension

  • greater calm and relaxation

  • improved body awareness and connection

  • reducing fatigue and quality of life

  • support of energy

  • greater emotional balance and resilience

  • improved balance and general physical mobility

  • a greater sense of grounding and overall wellbeing

This program translates that broader evidence into accessible education and opportunities to begin practicing. Traditional Chinese Medicine concepts are presented as a traditional framework for understanding and caring for yourself.

Three Sessions of Learning, Practice & Integration

Session One — Understanding the Transition

Explore changing needs through the lens of Traditional Chinese Medicine and your Energy Bank Account. Begin learning gentle qigong movements and experience guided relaxation.

Session Two — Replenishing Your Reserves

Consider practical ways to care for your energy through rest, nourishment, warmth, movement, emotional awareness, connection, and nature. Continue qigong practice and learn brief self-care practices to use during your day.

Session Three — Bringing Practice Into Daily Life

Bring the ideas and movements together through qigong, reflection, and relaxation. Identify manageable ways to continue practicing and use your takeaway sheet to support a personal self-care routine to help you continue responding to the changing needs of body, mind, and life.

A New Season of Wellbeing
IMG_3396.jpeg

The menopausal transition can bring profound change, including feelings of loss—especially when it arrives earlier than expected or through medical treatment. Alongside these experiences, there can also be room for renewal, adaptation, greater self-awareness, and new ways of supporting your wellbeing.

There is no single way to experience menopause, and there is no one right way to move through it. The invitation is to become more attentive to what your body and life are asking of you—and to discover practices that help you meet that moment with greater presence and care.

Who Is This Workshop For?

Women in perimenopause, menopause, and post-menopause, including women experiencing medically or surgically induced menopause.

If menopause has arrived through medical treatment, the workshop offers space to care for your wellbeing alongside the demands of treatment or recovery. Gentle movement, relaxation, and practical self-care provide ways to participate at your own pace and reconnect with your body.

The program complements medical care. Women receiving cancer treatment or recovering from surgery should discuss participation and any movement restrictions with their medical team.
