Some of my observations:
Many people find it hard to simply be. Some are full up with responsibilities and can’t find the time. Others have lost touch with the deeper part of themselves. The support of a group can help. When we come together, the group energy magnifies our intention to allow our energy to settle, to stop following the mind, and to rest in being.
I will notice at some point during the meditation, that the energy in the room shifts into a more harmonious vibration. At one of the groups, the youngest participant shared that she felt like her nervous system had been reset. Another, who makes her living writing creatively, shared that it sparked so much writing the next morning. Although everyone has their own experience, resting in being enriches your life in countless ways. Not to mention that connecting with others of good heart in an intentional way lifts the spirits.
