What it is Taoist Wu Ming Qigong for Breast Health?
Qigong is a mind-body integrative practice consisting of gentle physical exercises that guide Qi, or internal energy, through the body for purposes of creating balance and disease prevention. According to Chinese Medicine, when life force energy—called Qi—is balanced and flows freely throughout the body, disease cannot take hold. Taoist Wu Ming Qi Gong for Breast Health consists of 7 simple movements to stimulate energy flow in the breast area to support health and wellness. I was trained in this special breast health program, a part of the Breast Cancer Prevention Project developed by Nan Lu, OMD and the Traditional Chinese Medicine Foundation.
Benefits include:
-
Supports the free flow of Qi (vital life force) and blood circulation.
-
Works gently without strain.
-
Reduces fatigue and improves quality of life
-
Reduces stress.
-
Builds strength and resilience.
-
Supports listening to the body’s signals and adopting new habits which promote wellbeing.
-
Builds capacity to store and generate reserves of Qi—energy that is needed for healing.
-
Simple to practice at home, or anywhere.
Is Qigong for Breast Health safe? The basic movements are gentle on the body and super easy. Because it is so gentle, qigong suits those who are recovering from illness as well as older people.*
